Modern interpretation of the Tibetan Singing Bowls
The Sela Crystal Singing Bowl Chakra Set Lotus 432 Hz includes seven crystal singing bowls with diameters ranging from approximately 20 cm (8" model) to approximately 36 cm (14"). The Crystal Singing Bowls are made of quartz crystal and have a chic frosted glass design with a rough white surface and a colored lotus design. The material used is given excellent sound properties by a special manufacturing process in which glass is melted down and formed into the desired shape by a centrifuge. Crystal singing bowls, like the traditional variants made of bronze or brass alloys, produce spherical, long-lasting sounds with a powerful fundamental tone and "singing", harmonic overtones. In direct comparison, the modern variant made of glass sounds even somewhat clearer and significantly longer than its metallic counterpart.

Tuned to the seven main chakras
The bowls in this set are matched both in color and sound to the seven energy centers of traditional chakra teaching and include the notes B, A, G, F, E, D and C (from the smallest to the largest model). The concert pitch A is not on the western standard frequency of 440 Hz, but on 432 Hz. This slightly lower pitch is said to have a relaxing and calming effect, among other things. This makes the Crystal Singing Bowl Chakra Set Lotus particularly suitable for meditation as well as for sound massages and therapeutic purposes, as the harmonic voice of the singing bowls can help to reduce stress and bring body and mind into harmony. Of course, the set is also suitable for taking listeners on a multi-layered musical sound journey. With mallets and other accessories
The Sela Crystal Singing Bowl Chakra Set Lotus comes with three mallets that have been specially designed for use with crystal singing bowls. The included mallet with rubber head and handle made of Asian shima wood fits comfortably in the hand and allows both gentle striking and rubbing of singing bowls. In addition, two different rubbing sticks made of glass are included. One model is half coated with silicone, the other completely. Thanks to the soft coating, crystal singing bowls can also be struck quietly with these or gently vibrated by rubbing along the upper edge. Depending on the selected mallet, striking technique and intensity, a variety of different tones can be elicited from the Sela Crystal Singing Bowls.
